Why I Dislike Buses
First-Time Visit to Blue Zebra: An Artistic Adventure
When I stepped onto the bus for my inaugural trip to Blue Zebra, I didn't find it calming at all. Instead, I felt nervous. The bus station was my rendezvous point with my Art Teacher, whom I anxiously awaited.
As I waited, I noticed some salespeople outside the bus. Politely, I informed them that I was waiting for my Art Teacher to collect me and that I had no money on me. However, they persistently asked me again if I had any money. Irritated, I reiterated that I didn't possess any funds. By that time, I grew serious, but thankfully, the Art Teacher arrived to rescue me. I calmed myself down and headed towards Blue Zebra via taxi, albeit an expensive option.
Embracing the Artistic Atmosphere
Upon my arrival at Blue Zebra, a sense of calmness washed over me. I began painting, and with each stroke, I grew happier with my artistic creation. Engrossed in my work, I sketched on the canvas and surveyed the surrounding artworks. The abstract pieces intrigued me the most, as I felt an inexplicable connection with them.
Lunchtime Reflections
As the lunch hour approached, I sat down to enjoy some beef crisps. Contemplating my next move, I pondered the possibility of replicating some of the paintings before letting my own imagination guide me. Satisfied with my artistic ambitions, I acknowledged that bus journeys often took considerable time but were essential for my creative growth. Hence, I returned to the art studio, where I resumed painting. Curiosity about the time prompted me to glance at my watch, and upon realizing it was time to leave, I made my way to Bus Express, eagerly awaiting the bus that would take me back to Arusha. Eventually, after an hour and forty minutes, the bus arrived.
While I was in town with Christofina and Dad, we met Patrick. He shared some advice: if you do bad things to others, they will do bad things to you, or God will punish you. I found his words interesting, though I can't remember him very well—it must have been a long time ago.

On Thursday, January 25th, I found myself outside, engaged in a project involving wool, bottle tops, and the assistance of local bushmen. As I meticulously wrapped steel wire with vibrant colors, the bushmen's lively radio tunes added to the cheerful atmosphere. Encouraged by their enthusiasm, Paranjo joined in, mirroring JP's actions. Grateful for their help, I acknowledged their contribution before turning my attention to other matters.
It's been a while since I last wrote, but here I am, starting anew. When I learned that my Dad and Christofina were coming, I was filled with a mix of excitement and nerves. Knowing my hand was still in bad shape, I prayed fervently that my dad would arrive in time to see me.
